Effective date: October 2026 · Last updated: October 23, 2026
This policy explains what personal information NeuroScripting (“we”) collects through neuroscripting.com and when you contact us, why, how long we keep it, who can see it, and how you can use your rights. It follows Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25. Version française.
1. Person in charge
Our Person in charge of the protection of personal information answers every question, request and complaint about your information:
Person in charge of the protection of personal information
NeuroScripting
Email: info@neuroscripting.com (subject: “Privacy”)
Phone: 438 596 7070
2. What we collect, and why
a) The quick test and its live counter
When you tap one of the two lines in the quick test, your browser sends only your choice (one of two values) to our server. We keep only the running total for each choice. No name, email, IP address or other identifier is saved with your vote.
So the same browser counts only once, your choice is also saved in your own browser (local storage, item ns_first_tap_v1). It stays on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
To block abuse, our server keeps your IP address in memory only, for at most one hour, to limit how many votes and counter requests one address can send. It is never written to disk or to our logs, and it disappears on its own.
b) When you write or call us
If you email or call us, we receive what you choose to share: usually your name, email address, phone number, business name, website link and the content of your messages. We use it to answer you, prepare and deliver the service you ask for, follow up, and invoice.
c) When you pay
Payment goes through a secure link run by an external third-party payment provider. You enter your card details on their page, not ours. We never receive or store your card number. The provider tells us that a payment was made (for example your name, email, amount, date and a transaction number). Their own privacy policy also applies.
d) Accounting records
We keep invoices and payment records because tax laws require it.
e) Technical data handled by our host
Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically process technical data (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time) to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. We do not use this data to identify you.
3. What we don’t do
- No analytics, advertising or social media trackers, and no tracking pixels.
- No third-party fonts or scripts: our fonts are hosted on our own site. Phone and email links simply open your own apps.
- No selling or renting of personal information, no profiling, and no decisions made by automated processing alone.
4. Cookies
This site does not use cookies. The only thing stored on your device is the local storage item described in 2 a), which the quick test needs so one browser votes once. It is not used to track you, and nothing that can identify, locate or profile you is turned on.
If we ever add analytics or another tracking technology, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent. Any such option would be off by default.
5. Consent and use
We collect only what we need, and use it only for the purposes listed above, or as the law allows. When you write or call us, you consent to that use. If we want to use your information for a new purpose, we will ask you first. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; this may stop us from serving you.
6. Who has access
- Only the people at NeuroScripting who need it to serve you.
- Service providers who act for us (website hosting, email, payment, accounting), only for what they do for us, and bound to keep it confidential.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
7. Storage outside Québec
Some of our service providers (for example website hosting, email and payment) may store or process information outside Québec, elsewhere in Canada or in other countries such as the United States. Before your information is communicated outside Québec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected, as the law requires, and we rely on providers bound by contract to protect it. Information held in another country may be accessible to authorities there under local laws.
8. How long we keep it
- Vote totals: as long as the test is on the site (they contain no personal information).
- Your browser’s local storage item: on your device, until you clear it.
- IP address used against abuse: in memory, one hour at most.
- Messages from people who don’t become clients: up to 2 years after the last exchange.
- Client files, invoices and payment records: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to.
After that, we destroy the information or make it anonymous.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information: an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, access limited to those who need it, and providers who protect what they hold.
10. Your rights
- Access: know what we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correction: have wrong, incomplete or unclear information fixed.
- Withdrawal of consent: stop a use you agreed to.
- Deindexing: ask us to stop sharing your information, or to de-index a link tied to your name, when the conditions set by law are met.
- Portability: receive the computerized information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format, or have it sent to a person or organization you choose.
To use a right, write to the Person in charge at info@neuroscripting.com. We may need to confirm your identity. We answer in writing within 30 days. There is no charge, except a reasonable fee for copying or sending, which we would tell you about first.
11. Confidentiality incidents
If your information is accessed, used, shared or lost without authorization, we act quickly to reduce the risk of harm and keep it from happening again. We record every incident in a register. If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we promptly notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people concerned.
12. Complaints
Write to the Person in charge at info@neuroscripting.com. We will confirm receipt and answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca · 1 888 528-7741.
13. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14.
14. Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version here with its new date.
